The Manufacturing Engineer – Casegoods is responsible for developing, optimizing, and
sustaining manufacturing processes for casegoods production, ensuring high-quality
output, cost efficiency, and alignment with safety and ergonomic standards. This role
supports continuous improvement initiatives and collaborates closely with cross-functional
teams to enhance productivity and product quality in the Casegoods production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define process flow, equipment needs, and tooling for new models.
• Evaluate and improve current production methods to reduce waste, improve cycle
times, and enhance product quality.
• Support new product introductions by developing process flows, work instructions,
and tooling requirements.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability
and compliance with specifications.
• Partner with Production Supervisors to provide training, technical troubleshooting,
and daily shopfloor support.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and ergonomic standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related
field.
• 3+ years of experience in furniture or Casegoods manufacturing preferred.
• Strong understanding of woodworking processes, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD and manufacturing software.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement
methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with international teams.
